LIFTING THE LID ON THE BEAUTIFUL GAME WITH FOOTBALL INSIDERS

For our first podcast, we meet The Fans’ Agency’s newest signing: Danny Wilson.

Danny brings a wealth of football knowledge and experience to The Fans Agency (TFA), having clocked up more than 600 games as a professional and 1,000 games plus as a manager.

A former League Managers’ Association Manager Of The Year, two-time winner of the League Cup and the man who masterminded Barnsley’s promotion to the Premier League, Danny is heading up player acquisition and player care at TFA and has already been clocking up the miles as he meets potential stars up and down the country.

TFA’s Gareth Roberts caught up with Danny for our first ever Football Insiders podcast and spoke to the ex-midfielder about his playing days, winning at Wembley, the move into management, becoming the only man to manage Sheffield Wednesday AND Sheffield United and what it was like to manage the maverick talent of Paolo Di Canio.

Danny also revealed more about his role at TFA, and why he has decided to swap the touchline for this new challenge.
